Police have arrested a 30-year-old man who visited his ex-girlfriend's house, killed him with a weapon and seriously injured his girlfriend's mother.
He was under police protection, but it was not enough to prevent the crime.
Reporter Kim Geun-woo covered it.

A police car enters the apartment entrance, and an ambulance follows quickly.
At an apartment in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, A in his 30s wielded a weapon against his ex-girlfriend B and B's mother at around 12:10 p.m.
A waited for B's mother in the underground parking lot and chased her to the front of the house.
During the argument, he wielded a weapon prepared in advance, and even attacked B, who came out after hearing the sound.
A, who reported directly to the police immediately after the crime, was arrested at the scene, and victim B was taken to a hospital, but died.
Residents say A, who lived alone, was staying with his mother because he felt threatened after breaking up with B.
[Neighbor: (Recently) my mother accompanied me, and as far as I know, she's only going to her parents' house on weekends, but she hasn't, but she's been coming all the time.]
From this month, I've even received police protection.
But because of my job teaching children, I didn't wear a smartwatch.
Instead, the police provided front door sensors and smart doorbells, but they were not enough to prevent the damage.
[Police official: It's a personal matter, but we said we should pay, but as an alternative, we have a three-piece set of women's tenderloin]
The police plan to request an arrest warrant for A as they continue to investigate further.
