Gyeonggi-do Provincial Council's National Hee-Him, "Kim Dong-yeon's position on political issues is irresponsible and vain."

The People's Power of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council held a press conference in the briefing room of the provincial council regarding Governor Kim Dong-yeon's announcement of his position on political issues, criticizing it as "irresponsible and futile remarks."

The People's Power pointed out, "Governor Kim not only poured political colors on the Gyeonggi provincial government, which should be transparent and fair using the current situation, but also made extreme remarks such as 'accept the special prosecution' and 'retire yourself' to the president."

"Although an administrative audit of Gyeonggi-do Province is being conducted and Governor Kim's arbitrary personnel appointment on the first day of the regular meeting (5th), we cannot help but doubt whether he is right to make the remarks that he can deliver the letter of appointment (the deputy governor of the economy, the senior president of the economy)," he said. "I demand that Governor Kim look back on himself first and stick to the governor's duty again."

Kim Jung-ho, the representative of People's Power, said, "It is impossible for the head of the audited organization to deliver such a message to the president (of other parties) during the administrative audit," adding, "It is pathetic to predict the sentence scheduled for the 15th (Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung) and show his presence.

People's Power also said it is considering adopting Governor Kim as a witness in this administrative audit and inquiring about pending issues related to attracting foreign investment.

Earlier today (13th) morning, Governor Kim held a press conference to announce his position on political issues in the briefing room of the provincial government and said, "President Yoon has no other way but to accept the special prosecutor and change the state affairs or to step down on his own."
