A document containing circumstantial evidence that Myung Tae-kyun, a key figure in the "suspected intervention in the nomination," was involved in the discussion of urban planning in Changwon City was released.
Moon Soon-kyu, a member of the Changwon City Council of the Democratic Party of Korea, held a press conference today (19th) and said that it was revealed that Myung attended a meeting to reorganize the district unit plan in the city behind Changwon and expressed his opinion.
Lawmaker Moon disclosed the Changwon City document and said Myung asked specific questions such as "Can't we change the type 1 residential area to type 1 general residential area?"
Lawmaker Moon explained that some of the discussions at the time were included in the decision to change the district unit plan for the city behind Changwon, which was announced in January.
In response, Changwon City explained that raising the number of residential areas is the long-cherished desire of residents of single-family houses in the city, and that it is not a personal requirement of Myeong.
In addition, the meeting was only one of various processes for collecting opinions, and the final change was decided through procedures such as collecting expert opinions.
