Dahye, the daughter of former President Moon Jae In, who crashed into a taxi after drinking alcohol, was handed over to the prosecution.

The charges applied are one drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.

Earlier, the police raided an oriental clinic where a taxi driver was treated to consider whether to charge Moon with additional dangerous driving injuries, but in the end, they only applied the charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.

The police explained, "We judged whether to admit the charges by combining the statements of the person involved in the case and objective facts."

It seems that the taxi driver has not been issued a medical certificate and that he has reached an agreement with Moon.

Moon is accused of driving in Itaewon-dong, Seoul, at around 2:50 a.m. on the 5th of last month while intoxicated with the level of license cancellation and bumping into a taxi that was following him.

On the 18th of last month, 13 days after the accident, he attended the police and was investigated for about four hours, and most of them reportedly admitted to the charges.

At the time, Moon said in an apology before the investigation that he had made a big mistake that he should not have done, and that he would live with reflection so that this would not happen again.

The police plan to notify Moon of his violation of traffic laws, including illegal parking and signal violations.
