Incheon City has opened an unmanned shelter for delivery and proxy drivers at the Southern Workers' Comprehensive Welfare Center in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu.
The shelter was created at a cost of 80 million won as Incheon City was selected for the "Platform Workers' Workplace Improvement Support Project" organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Inside the unmanned shelter, which enters and exits with a QR code, there are a public lounge, a women-only lounge, air conditioning and heating facilities, a water purifier, a massage chair, a work computer, and a mobile phone charger.
After a pilot operation next month, it will be officially operated from January next year, and the official operation time will be from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. the next day, and will not be operated on Sundays.
