Snow warnings issued in Sunchang and Jeju mountain areas in Jeollabuk-do

Following the heavy snowfall in the metropolitan area, a lot of snow is expected in Sunchang and Jeju mountainous areas in Jeollabuk-do.

The Korea Meteorological Administration issued a heavy snow warning in Sunchang, Jeollabuk-do as of 3 a.m. today (29th).

In addition, it announced that a heavy snow warning will be in effect for mountainous areas on Jeju Island as of 4 a.m.

The heavy snow warning is issued when snow is predicted to accumulate more than 5cm in 24 hours, and residents should pay attention to snow driving and walking.
