The faculty association of Pusan National University issued a declaration condemning the emergency martial law and demanded the immediate resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

The faculty said martial law was an anti-democratic tyranny that destroyed democratic values, denying national identity and regressing the development of history.

He then said he called for a thorough investigation and punishment of President Yoon and those involved to defend democracy and constitutional values, calling for his immediate resignation.
