Hanam City announced that it will raise sewage rates by 6.44% from January next year to ease the deficit arising from the sewage treatment process.The city of
explained that the current sewage treatment cost is 1,289 won per ton, but the user fee is only 643 won, so the cumulative deficit problem is getting worse, so we decided to raise it in stages for three years starting next year.
For ordinary households who use 20 tons per month, sewage charges will increase from 8,340 won to 8,880 won, up 540 won from January next year.
