Paju Mayor Kim Kyung-il met with Koo Hu-yeon, president of the Korea Baseball Organization, and KBO to discuss the construction of a dome stadium in Paju City, emphasizing access to the metropolitan area.The city of

plans to establish a task force dedicated to promoting dome stadiums in January next year to start a feasibility study and push ahead with the project with the aim of creating a sports and cultural complex.

Earlier in October, Mayor Kim toured "Sconfield" and "Saporo Dome" in Hokkaido, Japan, and looked at ways to grow the city through the development of a sports and cultural complex, the city said.
