The modernization project to underground the old Suyeong Sewage Treatment Plant in Busan and create sports facilities in the ground space has passed the Korea Development Institute's private investment project eligibility survey.
Accordingly, the Busan Metropolitan Government plans to open the first shovel of the modernization project in 2026 after completing follow-up procedures such as selecting preferred negotiators with the consent of the city council in the first half of next year.
This survey is a procedure to verify that there is no problem in promoting projects with private capital and that they are more effective than financial projects.
