Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin signed a business agreement today (27th) and agreed to use Seoul's unlimited public transportation pass "Climate Travel Card" at 10 stations in Seongnam section of the Suin Bundang Line from the second half of next year.
As a result, Seongnam will be able to use a Gifu-dong card up to the Suibundang Line in addition to Subway Line 8 and 11 city buses.
explained that this agreement is significant as major cities in the metropolitan area, such as Seongnam City in the southeastern part of the metropolitan area, Uijeongbu City, Namyangju City, and Guri City in the northeast area, Goyang City in the northwest, and Gimpo City in the southwest area, will be connected to the climate card.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said it plans to continue to strengthen cooperation based on Mayor Oh Se-hoon's transportation philosophy that "all residents of the metropolitan area commuting to and from Seoul are Seoul citizens" and Mayor Shin Sang-jin's transportation policy vision to "create a transportation hub Seongnam City."
