The Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) held an "e-sports employment briefing" at the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center on October 30 with more than 80 job seekers and students interested in e-sports employment. The briefing session was held in conjunction with G-Game Connect, the follow-up program of the Gyeonggi-do game show PlayX4, which is held in May every year.

The event was filled with time for officials from famous domestic e-sports companies to participate and share job introductions and recruitment information. From 2 p.m., a job briefing session was held to introduce the job and employment know-how of each company by current employees from the professional game group "D-plus Kia," the e-sports broadcasting production company "Nice Game TV," and the e-sports competition operator "Battleika." Afterwards, Choi Eun-kyung, a professor at Hanshin University's Graduate School of e-sports convergence, gave a special lecture on "Understanding the E-Sports Era, E-Sports Jobs."

In addition, pre-applicants were provided with one-on-one counseling with professional consultants and small group mentoring for each e-sports job, allowing them to receive specific advice on writing self-introduction letters, preparing portfolios, and interview tips. In addition, a recruitment counseling booth involving e-sports companies such as Dplus Kia, Battlerica, and Game Stick along with interview image consulting was operated until 5 p.m., drawing attention from participants.

A participant who attended the event said, "I was dreaming of getting a job in the e-sports industry, but I was vague about how to prepare, but I was able to solve many questions through communication with the incumbent."

An official from Kyungconjin said, "We expect the interest in e-sports to heat up as the South Korean team has recently performed well in the League of Legends World Championship (LOL World Cup)," adding, "We will continue to provide programs that help young people who want to have e-sports-related jobs in the future."
