Biden approves 760 billion won worth of Taiwan security aid

The White House says U.S. President Joe Biden has approved a $567 million, 760 billion won worth of security aid to Taiwan.

The White House said the aid was intended to provide Taiwan with military supplies, services, training and education, but did not release more details.

The U.S. enacted laws in April to provide billions of dollars to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.Under the principle of

{One China', China, which considers Taiwan its territory, has repeatedly called on the United States not to sell weapons to Taiwan.

China, which aims to reunify Taiwan, has never said it would rule out the use of force, raising constant concerns that a war could break out.
