President Yoon Suk Yeol warned that if North Korea attempts to use nuclear weapons, it will face a decisive and overwhelming response from our military and the Korea-U.S. alliance, and that it will be the end of the North Korean regime.

At the '76th Anniversary of the Armed Forces Day' held at Seoul Airport in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province today (1), President Yoon stressed that the North Korean regime should get out of the delusion that nuclear weapons protect him even now.

He added that fake peace relying on the good will of the enemy is nothing more than a mirage, adding that human history proves that the only way to protect peace is to build power so that the enemy cannot cross it.

"Starting with the Washington Declaration in April last year, the South Korea-U.S. alliance has been upgraded to a nuclear-based alliance in name and reality," he said. "The South Korea-U.S.-Japan security cooperation will be strengthened based on the strong South Korea-U.S. alliance."President

Yoon also expressed his expectation for the creation of a strategic command established today and said it will be a key unit that protects the country and its people from North Korea's nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction.
