As the temperature fell further than yesterday, the temperature in Seoul morning was 12.1 degrees, the lowest this fall.

The 18th typhoon 'Kuraton', which was a super-powerful typhoon, is stagnating in the waters near Taiwan, with its power somewhat weakened.

We will connect with reporters to find out the temperature and typhoon prospects. Reporter Kim Minkyung!

It's very chilly in the morning, how much did the temperature drop?

[Reporter]
Yes, the morning temperature in Seoul today was 12.1 degrees, which is 8 degrees lower than the low of 20.5 degrees yesterday morning.

It's the lowest temperature this fall.

The temperature was the lowest this fall in many parts of the country, including 10.8 degrees in Daejeon and 14.5 degrees in Daegu,
The temperature of Mt. Seorak,
also plummeted to 0.2 degrees Celsius.

The temperature fell sharply yesterday as cold air came down from the northwest behind a rain cloud that rained all over the country.

Even in the middle of the day, most parts of the country, including 21 degrees in Seoul and 19 degrees in Gangneung, will be around 20 degrees, about 2 to 5 degrees lower than usual.

The wind must be very strong, too.

In most parts of the country, strong winds will momentarily blow around 15m per second and mountains around 20m per second.

Tomorrow, the morning temperature in Seoul is expected to drop to around 10 degrees in the central region, including 12 degrees, and some inland and mountainous areas will fall below 10 degrees.

I'll also look into the typhoon situation.

The power of 'Kuraton', a super-powerful typhoon, weakened somewhat as it stagnated in the sea near Taiwan?

[Reporter]
Yes, Typhoon No. 18 'Kuraton' developed into a 'super-strong' yesterday with a central wind speed of 55 meters per second in the southwest coast of Taiwan.

While still at sea about 460 kilometers southwest of Taiwan, the force has weakened somewhat, but it still maintains a "very strong" strength.

The typhoon is expected to gradually move northeast and land inland southwest of Taiwan by tomorrow.

Since then, its power is expected to weaken to a 'medium' level as it penetrates Taiwan.

In addition, contrary to what was expected to affect Korea between the 4th and 5th, the typhoon is expected to stay in northeastern Taiwan on weekends due to prolonged congestion in the waters near Taiwan.

The typhoon's future course is very fluid,
The
Meteorological Administration analyzed that the typhoon is likely to affect the Korean Peninsula in the form of low pressure, with its power greatly weakened after passing Taiwan.

However, prior to this, caution is needed as typhoon steam and northern cold air are expected to cause strong rain and wind in the south and east and high waves at sea during the stepping-stone holiday and weekend.
