Imsil, Jeollabuk-do, is the representative cheese production site in Korea.

The Imsil N Cheese Festival, the largest cheese festival in Korea, which marks its 10th anniversary this year, ended today, National Foundation Day.

There is a YTN issue reporter at the festival site where you can enjoy not only cheese but also autumn chrysanthemums. Reporter Seo Jihyun!

You can see various cheeses there?

[Reporter]
Yes, it is.

Yes, you can see here from round Goda cheese to square Berg cheese and Goda cheese with herbs.

The name of the cheese varies depending on the manufacturing method, and the cheese displayed here is hard aged cheese, so you have to cut it with a wire string and a large knife like this.

Then I'll try this cheese.

I ate a large piece, but it's not salty and it's light. It's a taste that I want to keep eating.

The Imsil N Cheese Festival, which runs for four days from today, marks its 10th anniversary this year.

It is an event to celebrate Father Chung Ji-hwan, who came to Imsil from Belgium, making cheese for the first time in our country.

As Korea's first cheese festival, the biggest attraction is that you can experience various cheeses.

In addition to making your own cheese, you can experience almost everything related to cheese, from cheese auctions and cheese fondue experiences.

In addition, it offers a variety of foods such as local food from 12 towns and villages and Imsil Korean beef.

You can also taste thorn thistle, one of Imsil's representative agricultural products.

Then let's listen to the stories of families who visited the festival for the holiday.

[Jung Soo-yeon / Jeonnong-dong, Seoul: I ate Imsil Korean beef as soon as I came here, and my dad praised me for the best Korean beef I've had this year, and I bought cheese that I'm grilling now, but I think it'll be so good.]

Autumn chrysanthemums, another pride of the Imsil N Cheese Festival, have also become more diverse than last year.

By increasing the proportion of colorful chrysanthemums that were well received to 23%, you can enjoy more than 10 million chrysanthemums and unique flower sculptures.

At night, fantastic LED nightscape lights will add light to the European garden for a spectacular view.

The festival runs until this Sunday.

This weekend, why don't you taste savory cheese and feel the deepening autumn atmosphere with 10 million chrysanthemum flowers?

So far, I'm Seo Ji-hyun of YTN at Imsil N Cheese Festival in Jeollabuk-do.
