Hyundai Motor Group Doubles New Car Sales in Singapore in 1 Year ↑

Sales of new cars in the region have more than doubled from last year since Hyundai Motor Group launched a global innovation center in Singapore.

Singapore's Land Transport Authority said the number of new car registrations by Hyundai Motor and Kia stood at 1,557 in the first half of this year, up 106% from the same period last year.

Hyundai Motor Group is focusing on eco-friendly cars, and some electric vehicles are produced and released by local global innovation centers.

It also plans to establish itself as an "eco-friendly car maker" in the local market by partnering with 17 charging companies in the region to build electric vehicle infrastructure.
