Israel strikes at central Gaza mosque...At least 21 people are dead.

At least 21 people were killed when Israel attacked a mosque in Deir al-Bala, central Gaza, on the 6th local time.

Witnesses said the mosque, which was attacked by airstrikes, was used as a refugee shelter, so the number of casualties could rise further.

The Israeli military confirmed the airstrike, saying that Hamas command headquarters were found to have been set up in the mosque and carried out a precision strike.

Al Jazeera also reported that Israeli airstrikes continued in northern Gaza, killing at least 11 people.
