Israel's defense "Iran could be like Gaza"

According to AFP, Israel has warned Iran that it could be like Gaza in Palestine or Beirut in Lebanon.

"Iran has not been able to scratch the capabilities of the Israeli military," Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said on a visit to the Nebatim air base targeted by Iranian missile strikes on the 6th. "If you think you can curb our response, you have to look at what's going on in Gaza and Beirut."

Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Pakhnejad visited the oil export terminal on the Gulf Coast of Kharg amid speculation that Israel could retaliate again against oil and nuclear facilities.

Parknejad met with the navy commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps in the region to encourage continued efforts to maintain oil facility security, the state-run IRNA news agency said.

Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted a military source as saying, "There is no doubt that Iran's counteroffensive will take place if Israel takes action."
