"Trying to kill him because of his co-worker's tone"...suspended prison sentence

A 20-year-old man in his 20s who tried to kill a co-worker by wielding a weapon because he didn't like the way he spoke was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence.

The Incheon District Court sentenced 26-year-old A, who was handed over to trial on charges of attempted murder, to two and a half years in prison and four years of probation.

The court explained that the intentionality of the crime was recognized as the victim was stabbed in the hospital, but that it considered the fact that A admitted his wrongdoing and reflected on it.

Mr. A is accused of trying to kill him by wielding a weapon while arguing with a co-worker at an officetel in Namdong-gu, Incheon in June because he did not like the way he spoke.
