"Please use it for the vulnerable"…Korean Church Donates '10 Billion Won' to Fruit of Love

The Korean church donated 10.56 billion won to the fruit of love to support socially disadvantaged people such as young people preparing for self-reliance and single mothers.

Today (7th), the organizing committee of 2 million Korean churches announced that it delivered 10.56 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea (Love Fruit) at the Love Fruit Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul.

The donated money will be used for programs to help young self-reliant preparations, single mothers, and addiction treatment and rehabilitation.

The donation was part of a project to support the socially underprivileged led by the Korean church, achieving the primary target amount of 10 billion won for the 20 billion fundraising campaign.

Meanwhile, Hwang In-sik, Secretary-General of Love Fruit, and Oh Jung-hyun, co-chairman of the Korean Church's Union Service, signed a business agreement to support the vulnerable and solve social problems.
