Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min said he will come up with practical measures through cross-governmental collaboration to prepare for new types of risk factors such as electric vehicle fires.

Minister Lee said in the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee that he will strengthen support for disaster victims and strengthen children's safety education to develop safety awareness and habits from an early age.

He then emphasized that he will systematically support local governments to expand their autonomy while implementing responsible administration and diversify their investment bases to expand growth engines in the region, such as regional revitalization investment funds.
