It turned out that the medical student who stabbed his girlfriend to death was not mentally and physically disabled at the time of the crime.

The Seoul Central District Court held a hearing today (7th) of a medical student suspected of murder, identified only by his surname Choi, and disclosed the results of such a psychiatric evaluation.

The prosecution conducted a psychopathic diagnostic test on Choi, but it was found to be 10.5 and did not correspond to a psychopath, but said the risk of recidivism is high.

He also explained that after forensics of Choi's mobile phone, it was confirmed that he searched for murder or killing people before the crime, and that he also bought tapes to suppress the victim if he rebelled.

Choi was arrested and charged with stabbing his girlfriend several times on the roof of a building near Gangnam Station in Seoul in May.

The court will hold a final hearing on Choi on the 8th of next month.
