Amid controversy over the state of the grass at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the National Assembly adopted Jesse Lingard of FC Seoul, a professional soccer team, as a reference for the national audit, saying he would listen to the player's voice in person.

The National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee sent a request for attendance to refer to Lingard as a reference to the national audit of the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 15th.

In response, a Seoul club official said, "As the K-League is in progress, we plan to discuss and decide after receiving the official letter."

After the third World Cup qualifying match against Palestine last month, the grass condition was controversial, and the Korea Football Association changed its home game against Iraq scheduled for the 15th to Mir Stadium in Yongin.
