The leaders of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany discuss supporting Ukraine in Germany on the 12th.

Foreign media reported that the leaders of major Western countries such as the United States, Britain, France, and Germany will gather in Germany on the occasion of the Ukraine Defense Liaison Group and UDCG meeting on the 12th local time.

U.S. President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will hold a summit in Berlin on the 12th at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, according to German government sources.

They will then move to the U.S. Air Force Base in Ramstein, Germany, where the UDCG meeting will be held, to continue discussions on how to provide military support to Ukraine.

The UDCG meeting is expected to bring together Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the leaders of all 20 countries, including Italy, Poland and Canada, Bloomberg said.

"The focus of the meeting will be to find ways to ensure a fair and sustainable peace while continuing to provide military and financial support to Ukraine," a German government source said.

"At this meeting, Germany is likely to announce an additional package of support for Ukraine," it added.

The UDCG is a ministerial-level consultative body in which more than 50 countries, mainly the United States, discuss Ukraine support strategies, and this is the first time that it has been upgraded to a level attended by President Zelensky and other leaders of each country.
