"Enjoy your charms".Yeongdong Nangye Gugak Festival Opens

The Nangye Gugak Festival, where you can enjoy the charm of the melody of Gugak, opened in Yeongdong, North Chungcheong Province.

In particular, this year's event focused on promoting the World Gugak Expo in Yeongdong in September next year.

The melody of the chintadae reverberates through the streets.

Following the chwita stand is a performance group dressed in traditional costumes from around the world.

It marks the opening of the Nangye Gugak Festival in Yeongdong, North Chungcheong Province.

More than 600 people participated in the street parade, including professional chwita, pungmul troupe, and overseas performance teams.

The Yeongdong Nangye Gugak Festival began to commemorate the achievements of Nangye Park Yeon, one of the three major maligns in Korea.

It is already the 55th anniversary, and this year, it is organized as a comprehensive festival where you can experience various experiences as well as exhibitions and performances.

This year, above all, we focused on promoting the World Gugak Expo in Yeongdong next year.

The gugak expo, which will be held in September next year, is the largest gugak festival in Korea that will be participated in more than 30 countries.

Accordingly, this year is a pre-event, and it is characterized by the incorporation of advanced technologies such as AI into Korean traditional music in line with the theme of 'Preview Expo, Hip Korean traditional music'.

In addition, we have signed agreements with local organizations for the success of the Gugak Expo to support members' viewing and create a nationwide promotional atmosphere.
