President Yoon Suk Yeol attended the ASEAN meeting this morning and agreed to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership between our country and ASEAN.

The Office of the President explained that the establishment of the ASEAN-Korea Dialogue in 1989 reflects the expansion and development of the ASEAN-Korea cooperation, and the establishment of the highest-level partnership in 35 years.President

Yoon said he will pursue all-round and comprehensive cooperation as a partner in common prosperity.President

Yoon will attend the ASEAN-related summit for the third consecutive year since his inauguration.

The two sides agreed to promote cooperation projects in the fields of politics, security, economy, society and culture following this strengthening of relations.

Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, who began his work on the 1st, will hold his first Korea-Japan summit in nine days since his inauguration.

A high-ranking official in the presidential office said that the leaders of Korea and Japan are meaningful in continuing the purpose of so-called "shuttle diplomacy,"
It is predicted that serious discussions will take place on how to further develop the
relationship.

He also explained that the leaders of the two countries will look back on the path of Korea-Japan relations over the past two years and talk about how Korea-Japan relations will start anew next year, which marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.From today to tomorrow, President Yun
