With the support of the National Museum of Korea, a special Korean room exhibition will be held at Durham University Oriental Museum until May next year.

This exhibition is part of the National Museum of Korea's overseas museum Korean room support project, and it was held when Durham University in England hired a curator in charge of the oriental museum's Korean room.

The special exhibition in the Korean room will display household items, photos, and classical Korean literature donated to Durham University by Bishop Richard Rutte of the Anglican Church, who has been a pastor in Korea for 20 years since the Korean War.

Bishop Rut was awarded the Peony Medal in 1974 for translating Lee Kyu-bo's prose, Chinese poetry, Guinmong and Chunhyangga, and distributing them to the English-speaking world.
