Gangneung apartment fire...70 million won in property damage

Yesterday (10th) around 8:30 a.m., a fire broke out at A's house in Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, and was extinguished in about 20 minutes.

There were no casualties, but all 70 square meters of A's house were burned, resulting in property damage estimated by the fire department of 70 million won.

The fire authorities believe the fire was caused by the candles turned on by Mr. A, but they did not rule out the possibility of arson and requested an appraisal from the National Forensic Service.
