The worst hurricane in 100 years swept through Florida in the United States, turning everywhere into a heap and causing casualties.

The larger-than-expected damage was found to have been prevented, but the political battle over disaster response is intensifying.

The tree fluctuates due to the strong winds, and it starts to be torn apart.

Even the building that stood intact in the frightening storm disappeared.

The empty road was literally flooded with water bombs.

[Jim Bag / Florida resident: Tornadoes drove into my house, swallowing everything and scattering everywhere]

As dawn broke, the damage was confirmed one after another.

The Tampa Bay home stadium in Major League Baseball, where the roof of the dome stadium flew, turned into an ugly object, and a crane collapsed like a paper straw at the city's construction site and hit the building.

Cargo trucks were naked, and the roads in residential areas were filled with rainwater like rivers.

Hurricane Milton, which started at the highest grade of 5, weakened to grade 3 when it made landfall in Florida, but its formidable power remained.

It took 12 hours to cross the Florida Peninsula, killing several people and turning the whole place into a heap.

However, it was determined that the damage was not as large as originally expected, so the worst situation was considered to have been avoided.

[Ron DeSantis / Governor of Florida] The worst-case scenario seems to have been avoided compared to what some expected.]

The political battle continued over the criticism of the hurricane response and the spread of fake news using disasters.

[Donald Trump / Former President of the United States] Unlike the state government, the federal government has not done what it has to do. Especially in North Carolina.]

[Joe Biden / President of the United States: The continued irresponsible and persistent disinformation and outright lies have led to a death sentence for someone]

As turnout in disaster areas tends to fall, rival states such as Georgia and North Carolina have come up with supplementary measures to make it easier to vote by mail and early voting.
