In the parliamentary audit of the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation by the National Assembly's Trade, Industry and Energy Small and Medium Venture Business Committee, the ruling and opposition parties fought over the export of Czech nuclear power plants.

The People's Power urged a strong response such as requesting a correction report if the report was fake news, referring to a media article to the effect that "the government promised loans, saying there was no financial support."

On the other hand, the Democratic Party of Korea questioned whether there was a request for financial support, saying that the official letter sent by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power to the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation in 2021 included a proposal for cooperation in the financial sector by the Czech Republic's largest commercial bank.

Chang Young-jin, president of the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, said reports that the government promised loans were not true, but said it is common practice for financial support to go into packages when doing large businesses, both at home and abroad.
