Kim Young-bae "deeply apologizes" for controversy over "insulting the deceased"...MIN JU "disciplinary action"

Kim Young-bae of the Democratic Party of Korea, who caused a controversy over his remarks supporting the re-election and by-elections in Busan, said he sincerely apologized to the deceased and their families, saying he made careless remarks.

Rep. Kim wrote on his SNS that I also did not take the death of the deceased seriously as the son of a father and the father of his children, and that it was his fault.

The leadership of the Democratic Party also said in a statement that it not only damaged the reputation of the deceased and the bereaved families, but also hurt the residents of Geumjeong, explaining that it will refer Representative Kim to the Ethics Tribunal to take disciplinary action.

Earlier, Rep. Kim posted on social media whether he would take another picture of the people's power to waste taxpayers' money by providing the cause of the by-election, but deleted the post after criticism came out that it was inappropriate for Kim Jae-yoon, the late head of Busan's Geumjeong-gu Office, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
