The beginning was an SNS post by Kim Young-bae of the Democratic Party of Korea to support the candidate for Busan Geumjeong-gu.

It was aimed at the former head of Geumjeong-gu, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage, asking if he would take the power of the people who wasted blood money by providing the cause of the by-election.

The ruling party protested that it was desecrating the deceased who died of illness, and representative Han Dong-hoon raised the level of criticism that lawmaker Kim said the same thing in other public schedules recently.

The Democratic Party of Korea criticized the initiation of disciplinary proceedings as an inauthentic act conscious of votes.

Immediately after the controversy, the Democratic Party of Korea, which announced its official position at the leadership level following Kim's apology, repeatedly stressed that it will take disciplinary steps along with severe warning measures.

It is interpreted that the sudden bad news that broke out amid the evaluation that the opposition candidates are close to each other due to the unification of opposition candidates is trying to extinguish the impact on the overall election as well as the ruling party.
