McDonald's Remove Tomatoes From Some Hamburgers... "Disrupt Supply and Demand"

McDonald's Korea has decided to sell some hamburger products without tomatoes.

McDonald's said it has temporarily stopped serving tomatoes at some stores since today (15th) and is offering free beverage coupons instead.

He then explained that the heat wave this summer has disrupted tomato growth, making it difficult to supply and demand.

An official from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said that the crops in the main areas of tomatoes, such as Cheorwon-gun in Gangwon-do and Jangsu-gun in Jeollabuk-do, are not good due to the heat wave this year.
