Consumer Agency distributes braille tags and goods for the safety of the visually impaired
The Korea Consumer Agency announced today (15th) that it will distribute braille tags for household goods and blind-friendly products to mark "White Wick Day."


Every year, October 15 is White Wick Day, which was designated by the World Federation of Blind People to guarantee the rights of the blind.

This year, 17 companies and associations decided to distribute 8,000 sets of braille tags and 16,000 sets of stickers for hanging on household items such as detergents and shampoo.

In particular, it plans to donate 200 million won worth of items such as home appliances equipped with voice guidance functions and food marked with braille.

These items will be delivered to 8,170 blind households nationwide through the Korea Blind Union.
