YTN "MBC Gift Certificate Coverage, Substandard Malicious...Legal Response"

Regarding MBC's report that the mobile gift certificate business has transferred damage to consumers, YTN said it will strongly respond to malicious reports that distort the facts.

YTN issued a statement and explained that consumers used 12.3 billion won worth of mobile coupons without any problems, and rather, it was YTN that did not settle the payment from Timon.

Regarding the report that the company began selling gift certificates after the acquisition of Eugene Group, the company reviewed the business during its predecessor and claimed that Eugene Group or the current management had no involvement in the business.

He added that legal action will be carried out immediately and that the company will actively consider civil and criminal legal action against the reporter in accordance with MBC's attitude.

MBC previously reported that YTN, which was acquired by Eugene Group, entered the mobile gift certificate business after taking office as the new president and is handing over losses to consumers.
