In the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's education committee, including Seoul National University Hospital and Hankyung National University, the ruling and opposition parties argued over the controversy over the preferential treatment of Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, and the suspicion of plagiarism and ghostwriting of Kim Gun-hee's thesis.

The People's Power criticized CEO Lee's transfer from Pusan National University Hospital to Seoul National University Hospital in January as a "Narsha by helicopter" incident, saying it cannot happen to ordinary people.

On the other hand, the Democratic Party of Korea intensively condemned the absence of Professor Hankyung National University, who is suspected of writing Kim's thesis, although he was adopted as a witness to the National Assembly this year following last year.

The ruling and opposition parties also clashed over Seoul Medical University's approval to take a leave of absence from medical school.

The ruling party took issue with the fact that the leave of absence was approved only by the approval of the dean of the medical school, not the president of Seoul National University, and the opposition party countered that the Ministry of Education's audit was a measure to excessively pressure the university.
