The government will start the project in the first half of next year with the aim of developing the world's best humanoid by 2027.

Park Sung-taek, the first vice minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, visited a company specializing in humanoids and said that the humanoid project will be a focal point for uniting the capabilities of artificial intelligence, robots, and artificial intelligence semiconductors.

Humanoids are robots that think and act like humans based on artificial intelligence.

At the same time, the government will also push to designate robots as a national high-tech strategic industry within this year.

If it is designated as a high-tech strategic industry, it can receive various privileges and support, including the designation of a specialized complex for fostering and protecting related industries.
