Qatari PM "There has been no ceasefire negotiations in Gaza in the last three to four weeks"

Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad, one of the peacemakers in Gaza's war truce negotiations, said there had been no negotiations or contact in the last three to four weeks.

Muhammad, who attended the EU-Gulf Cooperation Summit in Brussels, Belgium, described the situation of the negotiations as hovering in place without any progress, with all parties silent.

The U.S., also a mediator, pressed for a settlement early last month, saying the ceasefire was 90% agreed, but the dispute has since expanded, with Israel launching large-scale airstrikes and ground operations against Lebanon's Hezbollah.
