BTS member J-Hope was discharged from the military this morning after finishing his military service.

He is the second member, and Jin, who was discharged first, came to the front of the unit and greeted J-Hope.

I'm connecting you, reporter Kim Seung Hwan!

Please tell us about J-Hope's discharge from the military.

[Reporter]
J-Hope finished reporting his discharge from the Army's 36th Division boot camp in Wonju, Gangwon Province, around 10 a.m.

J-Hope joined the army in April last year and has been serving as an assistant here.

There was no separate discharge ceremony today, but I thanked the reporters after giving them a show of hands in front of them.

[J-Hope / BTS member: Thanks to our fans, we were able to finish our military service in good health and safety] Thank you for your huge support, support, and love. I was discharged from the military in good health. Thank you. Loyalty!]

In June, the first BTS member who finished his military service came to greet him and congratulated him on his discharge from the military.

J-Hope drew attention by kneeling down and holding up the microphone when he said how he felt about being discharged from the military.

Even after expressing his feelings, J-Hope sang military songs and gave a "hand kiss" to reporters and fans, enjoying the joy after being discharged from the military.

It is expected that he will express his feelings about being discharged from the military through the live broadcast of the fan community 'Weverse' at around 1 p.m. and express his gratitude to his fans.

Earlier, the agency asked fans to refrain from visiting the site to prevent safety accidents, so domestic fans could not see well.

Dozens of overseas fans, mainly from Japan, China, Chile, and Italy, waited for J-Hope's discharge with excitement.

Large advertising balloons and banners were also installed in front of the unit to celebrate J-Hope's discharge from the military.

About 50 security personnel, police officers, and soldiers, as well as ambulances and firefighters were on hand just in case. The rest of the members serving in the

military will be discharged side by side in June next year, so expectations are growing that they will return as a whole by the second half of next year.
