Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant warned that "it won't last long," referring to Deputy Secretary General Naim Qasem, who was elected as Hezbollah's new head.
"Temporary appointment, it won't last long," Gallant posted on social media on the 29th local time, along with a photo of Deputy Secretary-General Qasem.
"The countdown has begun," Gallant also wrote in a Hebrew post.
Earlier, on the 27th of last month, Israeli forces targeted the outskirts of the Lebanese capital Beirut and assassinated Nasrallah, and removed Hashim Safiedin, who was considered to be the next head.
