Some North Korean troops sent to Russia have already begun operations, CNN reported, citing multiple Western intelligence officials.

Officials also say the size of the military will increase if the North Korean military moves to the front line after training in eastern Russia.An official at

told CNN that many of the North's troops appear to have already begun operations.

CNN interpreted that it means that some North Korean troops have already entered Ukraine.

It added that the North Korean military's entry into Ukraine is a step further from the Pentagon and NATO's judgment that they are heading to Russia's Kursk region.
