The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has arrested two people, including A in his 20s, for driving recklessly at a maximum speed of 200km/h on a car-only road in downtown Seoul, and booked 23 accomplices without detention.
They are accused of driving recklessly at speeds of 130 to 200 kilometers per hour on car-only roads such as Gangbyeonbuk-ro and Jayu-ro during the late night hours seven times between June and July.
Most of the members of the SNS runaway racing group were students in their 20s, office workers, and self-employed people, who gathered at certain dates and places and drove in a runaway drive using slang that they only knew.
In particular, it was found that they also recruited other participants by filming driving videos and posting them on social media.
