Police raid 'suspected of violating national security law' Korea Progressive Solidarity

Police have launched a forced investigation into the Korean Progressive Alliance, which is suspected of violating the National Security Law.

The National Police Agency's Security Investigation Bureau said it is searching the office of the Korean Progressive Alliance in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, the home of Han Chung-mok, the permanent co-chairman, and vehicles this morning (30th).

The police said they could not disclose the details of the investigation, only explaining that they were securing the necessary data.

The Korea Progressive Alliance is an organization launched in 2007 by the Progressive Party and 22 organizations, including the National Federation of Independent, Peaceful Reunification of the People's Republic of Korea, the National Congress of Democratic Workers, the National Federation of Farmers' Association, and the Korean University Student Progressive Union.
