The delivery platform and the win-win consultative body between the stores to come up with a plan to cut delivery fees could not reach an agreement despite nine discussions over three months.
As a result, the discussion will continue next month beyond this month's deadline for the targeted discussion.
Yesterday (30th) afternoon at Shinhan Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, the delivery platform-entry company win-win consultative group failed to reach an agreement on easing the fee burden, which is the biggest issue at the 9th meeting.
However, there was a consensus on the direction of the remaining items that the stores had demanded, such as marking the cost of the store, such as fees and delivery fees on consumer receipts, suspending the demand for Choi Hye treatment, and sharing the location information of delivery drivers.
The win-win consultative body decided to hold an additional meeting on the 4th of next month to continue to try to derive a win-win plan.
If the win-win plan fails at the next 10th meeting, the need for regulation through legislation is expected to emerge strongly along with the uselessness of self-consultation.
