The prosecution, which is investigating allegations of money envelopes at the Democratic Party of Korea National Convention, is coordinating the investigation schedule with active lawmakers suspected of receiving money and valuables.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office recently notified six active lawmakers from the Democratic Party and the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, who are suspected of receiving envelopes of money, to appear at the prosecution by the middle of next month.

As the prosecution says a face-to-face investigation into them is essential, it plans to coordinate the subpoena schedule by next month.

They are suspected of receiving an envelope containing 3 million won from former lawmaker Yoon Kwan-seok at a meeting of lawmakers supporting former representative Song Young-gil in the small meeting room of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the National Assembly's main building on April 28, 2021.

Prosecutors believe 10 former and current lawmakers received envelopes of money and are continuing their investigation by prosecuting former lawmakers Lee Sung-man, Lim Jong-sung, and Heo Jong-sik, and summoning former lawmaker Park Young-soon in July.
