Gyeonggi Province said it conducted a full inspection of 29 suspension bridges and three skywalks in the province during the fall holiday season and pointed out 80 cases of lack of safety measures in 28 suspension bridges.
Points to be pointed out are the loss of tensile force in the main cable and the failure to reflect the change in the standards for poor access control of the hanger wire rope, and Gyeonggi Province plans to notify the relevant city and county of the points to correct them.
In addition, we plan to manage the issues pointed out in the safety inspection in the first half of the year so that we can quickly take action on issues that are delayed in repair and reinforcement.
