Kim Taek-kyu, president of the association, demanded 'dismissal' and 'serious disciplinary action'
" Violation of the law through voluntary allocation of sponsored goods and written contracts"
"A two-year contract of KRW 2.6 billion with a sponsor is also a problem."

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which conducted an investigation into the Badminton Association after the disclosure of Ahn Se-young, officially demanded the dismissal of the association's president, Kim Taek-kyu.
Regarding the alleged violation of the subsidy law, we have even separately requested an investigation into the embezzlement of sponsored goods and breach of trust.

The core of the final survey by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which came more than 50 days after the announcement of the Badminton Association's interim investigation, is the demand for severe disciplinary action against those involved.
Kim Taek-kyu, president of the Badminton Association, was dismissed as the highest level of disciplinary action, and the secretary-general was also asked to be severely punished.
According to the final investigation by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, last year, the Badminton Association arbitrarily distributed 150 million won worth of sponsored goods led by the chairman and others,
This year, it was found to have violated the Subsidy Act by signing a written contract for 140 million won worth of sponsored goods.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also pointed out that signing a private contract worth 2.6 billion won with a sponsor over the past two years is a violation of the subsidy law.
The problem is the effectiveness of the demand for dismissal, which has substantial authority over the Korean Sports Council.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism stressed that if the sports association does not accept the request for dismissal, it will be designated as a management organization, and if it is designated as a management organization, all executives will be automatically dismissed.
However, since this is also related to the sports association, it is highly likely to lead to another conflict between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the sports association.
[Lee Jung-woo / Sports Director, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism: When we request the designation of a management organization and instead send a member of a management organization, the Korea Sports and Tourism Commission cannot arbitrarily select it and will consult with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to send a member of the management organization]
The police have separately requested an investigation into allegations of embezzlement and defiance of sponsored goods revealed in this investigation.
In the investigation, which was started with the revelation of Ahn Se-young, there was no face-to-face survey of Kim Taek-kyu, the president of the association.
This is because Chairman Kim refused to investigate.
[Lee Jung-woo / Sports director of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Why do you do this when you are not a suspect or a sinner, you thought it was a meeting with the director of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and you refused to comply with the investigation and left.]
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism believes that other sports associations will have similar problems to the Badminton Association, but said it will focus on improving the system rather than starting an investigation immediately.
