The Air Force expressed regret over the allegation that the former commander of the 17th Air Force Fighter Wing tried to rape his subordinate female soldiers and even committed a second assault.
The Air Force issued a statement after today's press conference at the Military Human Rights Center, saying it deeply regrets the incident despite efforts to continue gender recognition education and establish an integrated support system for victims.
He also said that he had separated the victim from the actor immediately after he was aware of the incident and had helped the victim report to the civilian police.
He also said that he will thoroughly investigate and punish the second reports of abuse reported in the media.
