A 4-year-old child was abused by a teacher at a daycare center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.

According to an MBC report yesterday (31st), the prosecution handed over a teacher who abused a child on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Child Abuse Crimes.

Earlier, the victim's parent, A, received a phone call from a daycare center where the child attends in March.

A said, "I received a phone call saying my child's face was hurt," and the teacher claimed, "I slipped and hurt myself while playing."

The child hit the corner of the desk and tore under his nose, and performed surgery to sew six needles at a plastic surgery clinic.

However, when he saw the homeroom teacher, not the director, insisting that he would pay for the hospital fee, he became suspicious and checked the daycare center's CCTV, and A witnessed a shocking scene.

CCTV footage showed the teacher suddenly grabbing the child's arm and throwing it on the floor. The child who fell hit his face on the corner of the desk and tore under his nose.

The police, who started the investigation after receiving a report from A, confirmed the additional damage. The teacher was found to have abused two 2-year-old children for less than a month after working at a daycare center.

It is reported that the daycare center in Bucheon is still in operation.
